The International Ship Masters’ Association Grand Lodge Convention will return to the Twin Ports in 2026!

The 2026 Grand Lodge Convention will be at the Holiday Inn Downtown Duluth (200 West First Street, Duluth, MN 55802). This will be a full convention starting on Wednesday, January 28th and concluding on Sunday, February 1st.

Please note that these prices average the weekday and weekend room rates during the span of the convention.

The NELC meeting and Delegate Caucus will be on Wednesday evening.

Grand Lodge business we be all day Thursday. We will have live music with a local piano player/singer on Thursday evening during dinner.

Friday morning will be reserved for guest speakers and presenters.

The Grand Ball will be Friday night at the Duluth Entertainment & Convention Center (DECC) in the Harbor Side Ballroom. We will have a professional five-piece variety band for entertainment.

After Grand Lodge business wraps up on Saturday morning, we will offer an excursion to the Lake Superior Maritime Musuem and local shopping outlets at Canal Park.

It’ll be an “80’s Party” theme on Saturday night with a Duluth/Minneapolis based D.J. service. A cash prize will be awarded for the best costume!

Lodge # 12 is actively seeking early sponsorships which could help offset the cost of convention registrations.
